Psalm 100; 1-2 Ps 100:1 ¶ <<A Psalm of praise.>> Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. 2 Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Beloved of God, subjecting to authority is a doctrine of God. What motivates you to serve? In God’s kingdom we don’t do our part of the work, we work till the end. You must serve God with pleasure. 1Pe 2:18 Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the forward. Be alarmed when you see your master. You must work in you the revelation of fear for your master. Without fear you cannot serve. The word fear is Phobos and it means to be afraid and to be terrified. When you see your leader it must trigger a sense of fear in you not a fear that makes you shiver but the fear that brings in you the urgency to do your masters bidding. Beloved of God it is wrong to get too familiar with your leaders. The fear in a man’s heart for authority is his wisdom. The bible says that the fear of the lord is the beginning of wisdom. It is gracious to be afraid of those in authority. It is the conscience of a man that leads his to submit to authority. Ro 13:5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. In Titus 2; 9 the bible the bible says exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again; We don’t say to serve is a burden. Jeremiah 23:36 And the burden of the LORD shall ye mention no more: for every man's word shall be his burden; for ye have perverted the words of the living God, of the LORD of hosts our God. You can lose your blessing by saying it is a burden. Every service must be of the heart. I serve with all fear and submission to my leaders because in it is my blessing. I do not say service is a burden. Shalom.
