EARTH OVER HEAVEN

Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven (Matthew 18:19). Verily I say unto you, whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven (Matthew 18:18 KJV). Beloved of God, the witness of two is better than one. Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour (Ecclesiastes 4:9). God has so much that has wants to do for man on earth, but it takes the will of man on earth to agree with that Will of God in heaven for it to see effect. It is what you bind on earth that is declared bound in heaven. Scripture declares concerning Moses and the people of Israel; And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed (Exodus 17:11). God had decided to utterly destroy Amalek, but Moses’ hand had to remain lifted for it to take effect. Ye are blessed of the LORD which made heaven and earth.The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD'S: but the earth hath he given to the children of men (Psalm 115:15-16). You are the limiting factor to what God Wills to do on earth. This is because it takes two to agree concerning every matter. Much more, when two agree in prayer concerning anything on earth, heaven has no choice but to execute it. No wonder two are better than one. This principle even applies in marriage. So the Bible says; Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the LORD (Proverbs 18:22). The man obtains favour because he has found one who will agree with him concerning a vision that God has given him. From the above we see two principles here; the agreement with the will of God, and the witness of two. When these two principles come together, surely whatever they seek must happen. No wonder the church is so powerful. When the church sees anything in scripture that they want to see take effect, and agree together as a unit, it must surely happen. So Jesus says in Matthew 18:17 concerning a brother that trespasses against you; And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglects to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican. The verdict of the church is the verdict of heaven at this point. Listen, you cannot remain defeated in this life as a believer. Search out in the scriptures to find what God has said concerning the believer in blessings and agree with God in prayer on it. Daniel searched the books to understand the number of years Israel was to remain in Captivity and once he saw it, heaven had to answer. Surely what you seek will come to pass if only you can find it and agree with God on it. Walk in this reality! Shalom
