HE DAILY SUPPLIES US WITH FRESH REVELATION.
Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.Ps 68:19 KJV "They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness…"Lam 3:23 KJV "I will rain down bread from heaven for you. The people are to go out each day and gather enough for that day…Then Moses said to them, "No one is to keep any of it until morning." …However, some of them paid no attention to Moses; they kept part of it until morning, but it was full of maggots and began to smell. So Moses was angry with them.Ex 16:4, 19-20NIV Do not say, "Why were the old days better than these?”For it is not wise to ask such questions…"Eccl 7:10NIV The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts:…Hag 2:9KJV God in His eternal plan has put measures in place to get us to an expected end. He provides us with fresh and new ideas, strategies, etc. daily in order to keep us in synchronization with his plans. Each day and season comes with a new package from God. Just as he daily rained new manner from heaven during the times in the wilderness, so does He do it today too, but better than what He did back then. His manna has never stopped raining and each days manner is better that the previous days manner. As believers we are supposed to be abreast with the times that He pours out new revelation to the body of Christ. And once we lay hold of it the old ones need to be discarded because they would have already accomplished the purpose for which it was given that day/season/dispensation. Revelation is progressive and like manner, turns into maggots each time there is a dawning of a new day and God replaces it with new ones. God is constantly saying and doing new things each time. His old ways of doing things are different from His new ways and if He Himself doesn’t rely on old ways, why should we? For example; at one time He placed a distinction between what is clean and unclean, giving a strict command as to what to eat and what not to. But another time He sanctified and made all things clean and said we can now eat all things [Acts 10:14-16]. Again, at one time He gave the Law but at another time, he gave His Son, etc. Modern day Pharisees and Sadducees [religious folks] who still cling on to old ways such as the Law, rituals, past revelations, etc. contribute less to the development of the church. Old stuffs are not that beneficial to the body of Christ now! It was some time ago, but now it isn’t. Those that He has not yet replaced are still as fresh and beneficial, but those that He has replaced/renewed have lost its usefulness. They become maggots if we still cling on to them in the light of new ones. Let us go for the new stuff and never be unwise in thought by saying that the old stuffs are better and more interesting than the new ones He has graced us with. [Eccl 7:10]
I love you and God richly bless you. Have a Shalom Day…!
